Terms and Conditions

By enrolling in lessons with Kerryn Miller, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Lesson Blocks:

1. 24-Hour Cancellation Policy: To avoid forfeiting a lesson, students must provide at least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation. If proper notice is given, the lesson will be banked and can be made up in the next package. Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be forfeited.

2. Teacher Cancellations: In the event the teacher needs to cancel a lesson, the lesson will resume as normal the following week with no loss to the student.

3. Payment: Payments for lesson blocks must be made either before or on the day of the first lesson in the block.

4. Benefits of Lesson Blocks:
• Discounted price compared to casual lessons.
• A set day and time allocated each week for the student.

Casual Lessons:

1. Flexible Scheduling: Casual lessons offer the flexibility to change days or come as needed, without the requirement of committing to a set weekly time.

2. Payment: Payment for casual lessons is due on the day of the lesson.

Refund Policy:

1. No Refunds: Refunds are not available for any payments made.

2. Rescheduling: Lessons may be rescheduled if 24 hours’ notice is provided. Rescheduling is allowed but does not entitle the student to a refund.

Late Arrivals:

• If a student arrives late for a lesson, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time. No extra time will be provided, and the full lesson fee applies.
• If the teacher is running late, the full lesson time will be provided or rescheduled at the student’s convenience.

Absences without Notice:

• Lessons missed without any prior notice will be considered forfeited and will not be rescheduled.

 Health and Safety:

• If a student is unwell, it is recommended that they notify the teacher in advance and reschedule the lesson to avoid spreading illness.
• For online lessons: Ensure that your equipment (e.g., microphone, camera, internet connection) is functional. Technical issues on the student’s end may result in forfeiting the lesson.

Holidays and Breaks:

• Lesson blocks are flexible around holidays. Please notify the teacher in advance if you plan to take a break.

Trial Lessons 

• A trial lesson may be offered to new students at the casual lesson rate. Afterward, students are encouraged to choose between casual lessons or lesson blocks.
